People come to Antalya all throughout the year because it is a place with a relatively mild climate, known for being sunny more often than it is not. The summer months can get very warm and some find them almost uncomfortably hot.  The average summer temperature is usually around ninety degrees, but the humidity can make it feel warmer.  The average temperature of Antalya’s waters at that time is approximately eighty-five degrees, which some people find too warm but many find to be perfect for enjoying swimming. 

The rainy season is in the winter, so visitors who prefer dry travels should make sure to avoid the wettest winter months, although the rain usually only lasts for about three weeks once the rainy season hits.  It generally does not snow, though, so travelers will not have to worry excessively about the winter weather, other than the rain.  The rainy season may come anytime between October and April.  The coldest months are January and February.
