Terms and Conditions for Male Members Holiday Dating

Please take time to carefully read the following terms and conditions for your own information and protection. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read and understood the various terms associated with your contract before placing any bookings.

Why Holiday Dating?

Holiday dating is an excellent way of meeting each other in a friendly relaxed resort or boutique hotel, DatingStars specializes in trips between Foreign Ladies who want to meet and possibly find a life partner from abroad, or a best friend outside their country. Our team welcomes you and is trained in translation service and will guide you through your unforgettable first holiday together. When meeting someone for the first time, you expect to share all time together. If you meet in the country of the lady it most likely means she is still connected with her daily life, work and friends and this could possibly interfere with your first meeting. Planning your holiday together means you will enjoy all the facilities of one of our excellent resorts on your first meeting. Our local office will be your guide and the lady is guaranteed to feel safe due to the support she can and does receive from the local office. The Women will get our Holiday dating catalogue when she registers for this service with all the relevant information, this helps to make her feel comfortable joining you on this first holiday. This should possibly be the most important week of your life to decide to take this step and find out that your dream has come true! We at DatingStars are committed to making your dreams come true through our exceptional service and facilities and in order to do so we have the following rules which need to be adhered to.

Here is general information as to how we work together followed by specifics outlined in the numbered sections below – once you decide to book your holiday together then our  team starts processing your request for a quote.  Please confirm that your Lady is available for the period considered before requesting a quote.

Once she agreed to join you on the holiday and you have confirmed the dates she can join you, then it’s time to select your accommodation. Once our team receives your request for the “Quote” price offer, we will check the availability of the accommodation. If it is unavailable during time period requested, then we will offer you similar accommodation elsewhere.

As travel and booking agents we act only as Agents for the Principals actually providing the relevant services, and with whom your contract will be concluded. We shall not be liable for any act or default on the part of such a Principal or its agents or employees. All holidays shown are subject to availability.

The service that DatingStars offers you requires you to reconfirm your booking and details. We can provide all the services and settings however we cannot replace YOU. You have to make sure that the lady you choose is the one you want to share a wonderful holiday with.  Ensure that you feel comfortable with your lady through your correspondence and telephone conversations before you decide to travel. Your correspondence and telephone conversations are key to the success of your Holiday Date together.

1. Your Holiday Contract

When you make a booking, you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. A contract will exist as soon as the booking is confirmed in our computer system. This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by Dutch law, and are under the jurisdiction of the Dutch Courts.

DatingStars acts at all times as a booking agent on behalf of the supplier(s) involved in your holiday booking. As a booking agent, the company's role is to ensure that all travel components/services booked correspond with what has been agreed with you at the time of booking. In the case of those components/services deviating from what has been agreed due to the supplier(s') inability to honour the contract, then DatingStars will open a communication dialogue between the relevant supplier(s) and the customer and will not be liable for any compensation claims. In this context, DatingStars cannot be responsible for any changes imposed by the suppliers nor can be considered liable for any omissions/mistakes, unless the latter occur due to our negligence. Ultimately, the customer will enter into a trading relationship with DatingStars, which will be restricted solely to the above mentioned role of the company as a booking agent, as well as with the various suppliers involved who will have the responsibility to provide in full the services/products advertised at the time of booking.

2. Payments 

Bookings with transfers, low cost carriers and scheduled suppliers need to be paid in full at the time of booking and will be non-refundable. Bookings are confirmed when the total amount of the invoice / order confirmation has been received, for the DatingStars due to legal issues only bank transfers to our legal bank account written on the confirmation are accepted.

2.1. Changes and Cancellations

Bookings made with low cost carriers are subject to 100% cancellation charges from the moment they are booked. Refundable tickets booked under these conditions will be refundable for what the airlines pays to DatingStars, transfers / hotels are also subject to 100% cancellation charge from the moment they are booked unless the hotel management regulations are different. Other amendments or changes to your booking must be received in writing from the lead named passenger. Charges may be levied by the tour operator or by your chosen suppliers, for which you will be advised at the time of the amendment. In addition, DatingStars reserves the right to apply additional charges in the event of cancellations or amendments. The latter will have an immediate effect from the moment you place a booking through us. Please note that any incorrect information in the documentation received from us must be brought to the attention of the Administration Department of DatingStars within seven days of the date of issue of the received documents. We will not accept responsibility if you neglect to check the validity of all the information provided after the time period specified above. Failure to trying the correct information to our attention will result in the following charges, in addition to the tour operator's terms and conditions.

2.2. Insurance 

We recommend that all passengers are adequately insured before travelling abroad. The latter is usually a prerequisite for most tour operators, who reserve the right to deny travel when proof of insurance cannot be provided. DatingStars includes a standard medical insurance for the Female Guest but cannot take any responsibility besides assistance if needed with the local insurance company.

2.3. Flights, time and tickets 

Flight times and prices shown are provisional and may be subject to change, as per the tour operators' booking conditions. Any changes in flight prices from the time of search will be indicated on the booking page before you make payment. For flight only reservation, please reconfirm your flight time 48 hours prior to departure as per the tour operator's/airline's instructions. This applies to both your outbound and inbound journey, as changes to flight times may occur while you are abroad. Tickets are generally issued by the tour operator between ten and fourteen days prior to departure, however they still reserve the right to issue documents at the airport. Please contact us one week prior to your departure if you have not received any travel documents. Upon booking you are subject to the airline supplier's terms and conditions. Further details about luggage are normally shown with your ticket.

2.4. Passports, visas and health issues

Passengers must be in possession of a valid passports, necessary visa(s) and we strongly advise to have your medical insurance with you. In case if passengers are refused in entry by any immigration or other authority, all repatriation costs are to be borne by the passenger.

For the locations we have selected for the moment, there are NO special visa requirements; this means that Female Guest can buy/get her Visa at the local airport upon arrival.

All rates on DatingStars are for passengers only. It is very important that you carry the right documentation with you, such as your passport or equivalent ID card. DatingStars cannot be responsible for any problems during the check-in, if these documents are not valid.

At the time of booking it is the customer's responsibility to advise us of any special mobility requirements for flights, transfers or hotels. Please note, however, that these cannot be guaranteed.

If you need any more information regarding passports, please check your countries Passport Service, or contact your local Embassy at the final destination.

2.5. Customer Service 

We hope that your travel arrangements run as smoothly as possible, and that you will enjoy your holidays. However, if you have a complaint while you are in the resort, you must first report it immediately to the local representative of the supplier or to the accommodation management. If the problem cannot be resolved on the spot, you should make a written complaint to the supplier's representative in the resort and report the matter in writing to DatingStars within 14 days from your return. Please note that you should allow us 28 days to resolve all issues.

2.6. Force Majeure

We will not make compensation payments for any cancellation/changes caused as a result 'Force Majeure'. Force Majeure means any inability by us to perform our contractual obligations resulting from any cause or reason whatsoever beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited, to: acts of war (whether war is declared or not), the threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, natural disasters, fire, technical problems to transport, airline failure, closure or disruption to airspace or airport. 

2.7. Data Protection Policy 

We have taken every possible measure to ensure the confidentiality of your personal information. However, some of the details shall be given to the suppliers, associated with your holidays, such as your tour operator, airline, hotel, Transport Company, insurance provider, etc. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities, such as customs/immigration, if required by them, or as required by law. Please note, that once your information is passed onto the suppliers associated with your holiday, the information becomes subject to their data protection policy.

2.8. What if the holiday did not work out as planned?

We hope as well as you do that this holiday is possibly the beginning of a new episode in your life, but there is a possibility that the meeting doesn’t work out as planned. Our professionals will always be ready to help both of you and in the unlikely event that you do not want to stay together, and then we offer your woman the possibility to be transferred to one of our controlled small local hotels till the date of her flight back. By accepting and booking our service you accept in any circumstances to act like a gentleman, and we ask you to pay for her cost during the days left, this is the guarantee that DatingStars administration gives your lady. This is normally not more than a few days, local hotel costs between 35 and 75 euro per night, depending on the season. This rarely happens, but we have to bring this to your attention.

When placing a booking, you guarantee that the details you have supplied are correct, including passenger names, dates, etc. If there are changes to the details supplied, it will be your responsibility to contact us and request changes. Please use our DatingStars Admin Mail or the mail account of your Hostess that organized your documents.

DatingStars will use its best efforts to find and rectify any errors and omission as quickly as possible. However, because of the sophisticated technology required, there may be times when obvious errors occur, such as the price or some other detail displayed being incorrect. In this case DatingStars shall reserve the right to cancel that contract and the customer will not have any liability in this regard.

Our software and systems are running in modern data centers with the latest firewall and virus protection but we cannot warranty that the website is free from infections by viruses or any other software that has contaminating or destructive properties.

When a visitor chooses to pay offline, then he undertakes that the product(s) selected may not be any longer available. Confirmation of order in this case is made when we receive full payment of the product(s) selected.

2.9. What if my lady will not come and show up?

All ladies at our site are personally checked and registered by our local offices. All of them have to come for personal interview when they accept your invitation to our Holiday Dating. Prior to accepting any invitation the ladies receive a brochure in her local language about our “Holiday Dating service” and printout of these Terms and Conditions.

We would not sell you any trip if we are not 100% convinced ourselves that the woman has real intentions to stay with you, this a GUARANTY that we give you. We also want to make clear that these kinds of holidays are special and there is always the risk that your lady may have to cancel at the last moment because of something unforeseen happening in her life. This is a risk that you have to take and DatingStars cannot accept any responsibility for your ladies cancellation.  If we feel that your choice of a particular lady is not a good one then we will inform you of our thoughts, but you are of course free to disregard our views and proceed with the holiday date regardless.

From the feedback we receive from our back office team we can confirm that 99% all the ladies in system really want to travel to meet a man that meets the desires and to start a new life. You however have to be convinced yourself that she is coming on this holiday date for YOU, this is what you have to be comfortable with. We provide all the services and facilities for this holiday date but you are the ultimate decision maker on whether this is the lady for you to share a holiday date experience.

2.10. What is included in my trip and what is not?

You accommodation, depending on booking one/two rooms, all travel expenses from your Lady, and depend on accommodation - foods and drinks (if mentioned) in all inclusive resorts, standard insurance for your Lady, her transfer from and to the airport. If agreed in the order confirmation - passport fee or travel money for your Lady (as mentioned in your quote). Not included is your Ticket, insurances and airport transfer, if not requested by your booking. If you requested that DatingStars takes care of this and you pay for it, then this will of course be included in your trip.

2.11. Male member trip.

The reason why we don’t include airline ticket for a male is that most of our members fly from different places, and generally have their own preferred airline. We hence leave this airline decision to you. If however you wish to have DatingStars take care of this ticket and transfer then please fill this in on your booking form and our team will include this in your Holiday Dating trip.
